Javier Carmona Benítez: marketing consultant, specialist and lecturer
I am Javier Carmona Benítez, an SEO, GEO and digital marketing consultant, lecturer and the developer of JCBOS. My work connects business strategy with technology, content and data analysis.
I have worked professionally in the digital sector since 2007 and under my own brand since 2013. Based in Alicante, I support businesses throughout Spain and international projects. I have also taught on master’s programmes at Universitat Politècnica de València since the 2018–2019 academic year.
My experience spans ecommerce, property, construction, sport and university education. This page explains my work, the organisations I have collaborated with and how that experience shapes my approach.
SE Ranking collaboration and ongoing AI training
In November 2021, I participated as a speaker in SE Ranking’s webinar on semantics and artificial intelligence. The public event page documents my contribution.
My training also includes AI Applied to Business, Big Data Architecture and Agile Project Management and Scrum, listed on my professional profile. This complements consultancy, teaching and the development of JCBOS.

Computing, business and communication: where my career began
It began with computing and an Amstrad. My curiosity about technology became a profession: solving problems, building tools and explaining how to use them.
From 2007, my work increasingly included website design, social media and digital communication. My technical background helped me address how websites were structured and how they worked, alongside their presentation.
Working under my own professional brand from 2013, I developed a consultancy practice covering SEO, SEM, ecommerce and digital analytics. Building a website was one part of the challenge. Understanding how customers would find it and what would help them take action was equally important.
That background shapes my approach today. I can discuss the business, review its data and coordinate decisions with developers, designers and content specialists. Strategy needs that connection with day-to-day work.

Teaching at UPV: marketing, ecommerce, SEO and analytics
My studies in Marketing Management and Corporate Communication at UPV added a management perspective to my technical background. Understanding the market, the brand and customer relationships is part of my work as a consultant.
Since the 2018–2019 academic year, I have taught on master’s programmes at Universitat Politècnica de València. My teaching has covered SEO, SEM, ecommerce, social media and marketing analytics. I have also served on final master’s project assessment panels.
The official Master’s in Marketing and Digital Communication programme lists my teaching involvement in ecommerce, social media and SEO/SEM, analytics and traffic generation. It provides an external reference for this part of my career.
In class, I connect concepts and tools with decisions: what a metric measures, how to interpret a search query or why a page supports a sale. Students’ questions also help me explain projects more clearly to businesses.
Beyond university teaching, I deliver training for business teams, workshops and talks. Explore my digital marketing training and my UPV teaching case study.
A project portfolio with national and international reach
My experience comes from working with brands, businesses and organisations in different sectors. Each relationship represents specific work: consultancy, search visibility, training, website development or measurement.
For Pompadour, I provided SEO consultancy for its online store between 2015 and 2016 through Grupo IFO. The Immosol real estate SEO and international search project concerns digital acquisition for a property business serving audiences in different markets.
My work with Grupo Renovak includes website design for the group and brands such as Renovak, SK Obras, PersonalHome and Residencial Zenit, as well as subsequent analytics work. The Grupo Renovak website design and analytics case study explains the scope.
Further examples include ecommerce consultancy and training for HO Soccer, SEO for Un Mundo de Redes and projects for Cosmopolitan. I also built the website for Diputación de Alicante’s Premios del Deporte through a professional collaboration.
Supporting businesses with national and international reach requires an understanding of their products, audiences and processes. My project portfolio and case studies explains these assignments in context.

Understand the business. Explain the decisions. Make the work useful.

Consultancy, artificial intelligence and my own software: JCBOS
Today, I combine SEO and digital marketing consultancy with teaching, project coordination and the development of my own tools. This brings business thinking and technical implementation into the same conversation.
GEO and visibility in artificial intelligence are part of that work. I examine how a business explains its services, what evidence it provides and how it maintains a recognisable identity on its website and other sources. Content needs to make sense to people, search engines and AI systems.
JCBOS — JC Business Operating System — is the management software I am developing. It comes from needs I know through my own work: connecting clients, projects, tasks, documentation and progress tracking in one environment.
Development is progressing in stages, including connections with other tools. JCBOS reflects an important part of my professional profile: I design and develop solutions as well as use technology in client projects.
The starting point remains the business: understand its needs, decide what deserves attention and explain the next step. Explore how I put this into practice through my consultancy, digital marketing and training services.
